I tend to smoke on my couch a lot, either watching TV or with a video game controller in hand. I notice that when I light and tamp, sometimes small embers and ashes come out of the pipe and fall either on my clothes or on the couch. Anyone think this is a fire hazard, or am I just being paranoid?

Seriously though....... I have put a few ember burns in my shirts this summer due to the ashes when tamping....although I doubt there is enough there to light a crotch couch on fire......... :P

Sadly, there is a group of midget strippers that travel around and perform during christmas season. Though they are adorable little bunch...and are Santa's little "helpers".

Fire-fighter for twenty-five years here,......yes it is a fire hazard and no you are not being paranoid.
It's been my experience those poor souls who burn down their homes via smoking materials die of smoke inhalation in the wee wee hours of the morning. The fire smolders for hours after the victim has gone to sleep....with the smoke from the smoldering material putting them into a very deep sleep.
:D Please be careful. :D

Thanks Tommy for a realistic reply to a rather serious question. All fun aside, be careful when you are smoking.
