Nope, not now that it was posted it's a torch lighter. You would think the retailers would have directly addressed the issue of rim burn if they call it a "pipe" light.I've been curious about these since I first saw them but at that price point I'm not willing to buy one not knowing if I'll like it or not.
Are you going to try one, Mike?
I think their thinking is that since it forms a dome it's more like taking a hot coal that terminates at a distinct point. But I'm just guessing here.Nope, not now that it was posted it's a torch lighter. You would think the retailers would have directly addressed the issue of rim burn if they call it a "pipe" light.
My old boy lighters are working just fine (unless it's windy lol).
You can adopt me and instantly have three cute Asian grandbabies. All I ask is that you leave all your Petersons in your will to me.My brass Zippo armor will out live my grandson's generation. Only if my sons will get the deed done and get me grandkids!!!
Very interesting! Thanks!I have three of them and I am quite satisfied, the flame isn't aggressive as normal jet lighters and I use them to light cigars too...
I bought 1--- from the DANISH PIPE SHOP : It was Very Good--- while it worked, but Unfortinately it did Not last very long ( rather cheaply made of Plastic, I suppose-- in....China...; after perhaps some 30---50 lights// sparks,--- it stopped working. I send it back to Denmark, it could Not be repaired---and I got a Full Refund : the DANISH PIPE SHOPE-- GOOD Service, as their usual. so, because of the poor Quality of build,--I do NOT recommend that ( Brebbia ( in name only) lighter.....Anyone tried one of these? These are new on TobaccoPipe.com. I favor my old boy lighters, but this looks interesting so long as the wide flame does not burn the rims. The built-in tools are nice, so long as it’s not too bulky in the pocket. Any thought?
