I agree Brad. While my grandfather was speaking primarily to the treatment of domesticated animals kept by man for work & companionship, the bigger measure is how man as a society treats the wild animals (& wildlife) of the planet. As a result of what happened to the bison of the Great Plains the conservation & protection of wild animals & wildlife really began in this country with the establishment of Yellowstone National Park in 1872. It is unfortunate today however that most of society feels that wild animals should be restricted to national parks & sanctuaries or in a zoo.Watch how a Man treats animals, and people society says don't matter.
