It's about conversing about the subject. If we think someone is being over the top or ridiculous we can say so. We should try to be civil and not make it personal, but that's part of the conversation. And it's a good thing sometimes to have people who are willing to tell you when you're acting a bit stupid. At least it's better then people thinking it and keeping their mouths shut.
