It also doesn't give off any toxins that plastic does and it's more durable.

Latex is a natural product. Many manufacturers who make rubber products will proudly say "latex-free" which makes consumers believe there's something wrong with latex. But unless you're allergic, latex is excellent.

I don't carry English blends or... VaPers for that matter when I'm out... I prefer to carry 1Q simply because people like the room note, and say pleasant things.
I do the same except I use Captain Black rather then 1Q

I have a Castelford pouch with the latex liner. I almost always have 1Q in it. I some times will just load a pipe with another blend to take with me with a wind cap on it. So the tobacco wont fall out in to my pocket. I never gave much thought to the latex.

I have five pouches with the latex, and one plastic one with the sifter screen at the bottom. Both styles keep the baccy moist, so never really was an issue for me. I do dedicate the pouches to a single blend.
