Chris, great looking pipe. It definitely has some Rad in it, I hope it smokes as good as your Rad Brandy, congrats on your new pipe buddy. Make sure you report back on how it smokes.

Who is the picture of? (sorry for the grammar)
Just so you folks know, Jerry is not only an amazing pipe maker, he is attentive.
He has contacted me several times by email regarding an issue I had mentioned on another thread about the stem being too tight in the stummel.
He cares about his work, which I find very professional.

I received my bent brandy today. I was completely impressed, blown away actually. Pics just don't do this pipe justice. The first smoke was something like I have grown to expect from my other artisan pipes. No gurgling, wide open draw, perfect button(and I do mean absolutely perfect). His stem work is some of the very finest I have seen. This one has a nice flat stem and it is just a breeze to clench. While I do prefer an un-coated bowl, his coatings are not bad at all. I have tasted some bad ones no doubt. On my first Jerry Crawford I could not taste any coating after the first bowl. I may ask him to leave the next one bare though because I like to taste the briar on the first few smokes of a new pipe.
To sum it up, this pipe is engineered flawlessly, There is not a single cosmetic or finishing imperfection either. The man is extremely meticulous about every detail of his work. This is my second of what I trust to be many Jerry Crawford pipes. I absolutely love his work.
