So glad to see Jerry Crawford will be there! Excited to stop by Stefan Cashwell, Kevin Foster, and Rich Roselli’s tables. They’re doing great work. It’ll be nice to get to meet them in person. It’s gonna be an unforgettable show!

I’m going to be at the hospitality suite Wednesday night for some time. Plan on spending most of Thursday at the hotel between the suite and room hopping. Friday I’m going to have my Sam Adebayo collection on display for the Collector’s Showcase.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my trip today due to a pinched nerve at the base of my spine, which has made walking exceptionally painful and difficult. So neither I, nor my Barlings will be at the show
I appreciate the suggestions of my friends, who suggested that I rent a motorized wheelchair, a sedan chair with bearers, or if those options are too expensive or difficult to obtain, a wheelbarrow with someone to wheel me about.
Perhaps next year if nothing bad happens.

I was hoping to finally meet you, Jessie! And I was looking forward to seeing some of those Barlings. Oh well. I hope you are back on your feet quickly.
Thanks for your kind wishes. This is truly a bitch to deal with. Stabbing pain can send me grasping for something to grab onto so I don't hit the floor. Dealing with stairs is a real treat. I've stopped the muscle relaxant that was prescribed because it made me extremely unsteady on my feet. The Penguin walks with much greater grace than moi.
Yesterday I decided to use the jacuzzi to see if it would offer some relief. Because my legs are so stiff I ended up skidding on the tub floor and barrel rolled into it. Luckily I hit the far sloping side and just slid into the water without hurting myself. Not my most graceful entry and the water splashed all over the bathroom. I probably would have gotten a 2 out of 6 if I was being judged. I'm getting some traction strips to stick to the bottom of the tub.
Saddened as I am not to be able to attend, it was the right decision under the circumstances.
