Kilts

I have a Mountain Hardware kilt that is great for camping/base-camps. Organic air conditioning, if you will. I have been told I have some Celtic in me but haven't ever been able to nail down what that means so I've never felt like I should wear any traditional ones. Regardless, as the Fisher king said "Free up the little guy. Let him flap in the breeze."

I have my Black Watch tartans, modern formal and ancient, a and wore the modern formal as formal attire in mortuary school. I've worn it to officiate a few events, and no matter where I wear it, it is a head turner, ice breaker, and always a boost to the ego.

I just finished a 10k in Santa Cruz wearing my Utilikilt! Kilts are surprisingly comfortable to run in!

Here's me finishing the 8k I mentioned earlier in the thread. Over 2,000 runners. All in kilts. At the finish line they weren't handing out medals, you got a very large pair of wool socks...
