Thanks! Got some coming. Had to try a sampling of Sakura before it sold out (which it did seconds after I placed my order).

That's what I decided on. Pretty cool he throws in the stickers for free

Well, at $15/2oz and mylar packaging instead of a tin, a $0.50 sticker should fit in the BOM without breaking the bank. At least for us Canucks, shipping is extra, too.

He seems to have enough profit in it to continue the project, so that’s good. I wonder if this artisanal, premium, low volume blending will take off the way artisanal, low volume, premium pipe making has.

Or, for that matter, like micro-brewed beers have. It would be great to have a small mom and pop tobacconist in every city....wait, didn’t we have that once before??? ?

Sakura was a very popular quick sell-out before KBV blends became the trendy post topic du jour here. I really like what KBV does, a mix-master concept in a market where you don't see that much at a retail level. Has some blends I think are outstanding.......but also some that are pretty average/hit-or-miss. Not said in reply to anything in this thread but I hope the hype train stays somewhat on path with reality around these blends. A pipe buddy of mine who typically pontificate's at great length on the lowly status of aromatics gleefully shared with that he was able to 'score two pounds of sweet muffin'. I didn't say anything as there's enough of a joy-deficit in this world already.....but if Sweet Muffin was branded Sutliff people would say it's a particularly bland effort, if anyone bought it at all.

I agree completely. To be honest when I saw that he had stickers available I thought, "great I wonder how much those are going to be?"

I wasn't planning on getting a label, since their free, why not? I probably won't use it on a jar though.

Exactly. I was overly less than impressed with Sakura and Fat Old Sun had a bit of a humectant taste to me.
