I've had canned seal meat from an uncle in Newfoundland. It was not bad, tasted kind of like fishy roast beef.

The meat is far better. Still not what I would call "good", but much more tolerable. The oil is like concentrated bilge water from the fish hold of a trawler. Except also greasy and thick. Open an eye dropper of that shit in a room and you'll puke for the rest of your life.

The typical white man reaction, haha. To his credit he did better than me. As you hear, it is rendered by leaving seal fat in a bucket for weeks until the oil separates. Mmmmmm:
