Brothers, I move that we petition the powers that be to formally move IPSD to today, June 20 in line with likely the most important day in pipe-smoking history, Jim’s pipeversary.

I send a great many thanks for all the kind words to you folks. I had a great day in part because of all of you. Also, by sheer coincidence, a friend of mine made a pipe for me as a surprise, and though he didn't know what today was, the pipe arrived on this special day. It just couldn't have gone better, folks.

That's a great response for more reasons than you know. Not only is Captain Marvel one of my favorite comic book characters, but I was very good friends with CM's creator, C.C. Beck. I have two CM paintings he did for me. I just wish I could have had the opportunity to draw a Captain Marvel comic book.
