You have saved me a lot of disappointment and money, I will take up your advice and look elsewhere for a Peterson.

A good place to look for Peterson pipes is site sponsor SmokingPipes.
Their parent company Laudisi owns Peterson, so they always have a huge range of Petes at all price points.
Use the “search” function to narrow down your choices.
The pipe you see in the photos is the pipe you will end up with.

Also look at their estate pipes Section.
You may find the shape you want at a discount. Their estates arrive in a cleaned state.

Hello all! I am rather new to the pipe smoking hobby so my eye for identifying pipes is not the best. I am looking to purchase this pipe that the seller says is a Peterson, but has no hallmarks or markings to identify it.

I've been searching for hours online but cannot find any Peterson pipe that looks the same. Does this look like a real Peterson pipe to any of you?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I look forward to being a part of the community here!
