The best way to search for anything on the site is from Google, sadly. The search feature has just never been very useful.

Another work around is using a two-word phrase in quotes. However, one word must have more than three letters.
Yes i've always wanted to search on "and" because I'm positive it would really narrow down my results!
On a serious note it's a UX thing, with a small character sting like that most people's results list would be useless, the point is to narrow down as much as possible.
