Is a Meerschaum Worth Picking Up?

You could always try a 'cutty' Duane - I think it would really suit you and there is a Turkish dude out there that has been turning out clones of some of my pipes! Trouble is you might wake up with a British accent and then start smoking weird tobacco.

I love Meerschaum, those pipes evolved and aged with you . From white to yellow , from yellow to orange/redish tone . Can’t go wrong , each one are handcarved and unique.

You just got to love Duanes pipes - if he was my neighbor I would definitely see him for drinks once a month. The world is so short of interesting people these days - that reminds me I have to get back below the Mason-Dixon Line as my friend has a new line in potato cannons under development. I guess Loews pipe section had a sale on last week.

I love my meerschaum pipe but only use it at home. Afraid to drop it. I dropped a few briars and none of them broke. I feel the meerschaum would not fair as well.
