I wonder; did Wrightbus buy the factory, with the intention of making plug sized toy buses? ?The Gallaher factory in Ballymena was bought by Wrightbus (a neighbouring bus manufacturers).

No rush old bean, when you get settled back in we'll meet up for a pint & a bowl (or two). ?@simong : Jeez I remember Irish Cake. I got something returned from you this morning that you've been waiting for. I'll bell you about it as I have a m8 coming over next week who has to swing by Mum's place so he can hook up with you. I am home at end of July.
@simong It would be great if we could get together for a few beers and bowls but I'm in Chesterfield and you're in Hereford...No rush old bean, when you get settled back in we'll meet up for a pint & a bowl (or two). ?
Considering Gallaher was around since 1857, and the importance of tobacco in Irish history, it would be a fitting tribute to call something within the company Condor.
I would only think it would never be done, because someone despises tobacco, or legal reasons, or simply wanting to break from the past.
hmm ?
Yes, it would be an experience I'm sure. You want to get to Nottingham for the pipe show in September Dan, you'd love it mate.?@simong It would be great if we could get together for a few beers and bowls but I'm in Chesterfield and you're in Hereford...

I read something a few years ago, not sure if it's 100% true, that none of the Irish whiskey distilleries are actually owned by Irish families or Irish companies anymore. I found that sad.
