This Shamrock is clearly a 9BC, but does not have the shape stamp.
It went for $135, a little pricey for a Shamrock that is missing the shape stamp.

Could be that someone liked that it didn't have the shape stamp as a rare oddity.

Also, how are you able to see the best offer that was accepted?

A very very very rare typical British Comoy's Relief Grain bulldog .
Much older with the very rare clover and rugby-ball stem logo.
Looks to be in fine condition, with only moderate stem oxidation.
Very very masculine and sweet. With Dunhill inner tube ?
Finish looks to be rusticated and then sandblasted with a very gentle "touch ".
I'm chuffed to bits.

OMG. That is terrible, Orlando!

The bent tube- or stinger?- is particularly odd. I don't see how it got bent without someone intentionally damaging the pipe. Best wishes for a good recovery..

Was it not boxed? Was it in an envelope?
Hello Jeff,
It was boxed, packed in bubblewrap and plenty polysterene loose fill.
The German seller is experienced in shipping pipes.
Most Italian sellers ship in a flimsy envelope, no matter you ask them not to.
Always turned out fine and now this happens with a so rare pipe.

Yes, thank you for your kind words :(
Why would someone, for instance a DHL person, do such a horrible thing ?
I think the box got stuck between something, large tear in it too. Must have happened with force to bend the tube, though it occured to me that the alu. is quite soft and plyable
Packed the remains separately in bubble wrap and a blister bag to keep it clean and dust free.
Best start contemplating about the repair. Hope George chimes in.

The complete lack of damage EXCEPT the twisted clean break means it was almost certainly caused by human hands. The pipe picked up and "folded" to make a statement, somewhere in the shipping / inspection process.
