Some tobacco blends can leave a very strong ghost (after taste) which can be difficult to eliminate.
It really depends on how sensitive (or not) you are to ghosts.
If you are not bothered, then no problem. Smoke whatever you like in the same pipe.
Indeed some members prefer to use the same pipe for different blends as they feel if gives added complexity/another dimension to the smoke.
If you are, then you may wish to have different pipes for different genres of blends eg aromatics vs Latakia/Oriental (also called English/Balkan) vs Virginia/Virginia-Perique blends.
Pure Virginia, Cavendish and Burley are a lot more "neutral" and ghost minimally
We all have different approaches/preferences as to what we look for in our smokes.
Do what you feel comfortable with.
Heaven forbid you should end up with 20 pipes just because you have 20 tobacco blends open
