I thought I would update this thread to say I am still waiting to receive the pipe I ordered from meerschaumstore in January.

Care to elaborate at all? As in, does this mean there is a problem, or is there some acceptable reason for the long wait?
Did you already pay for it? And have they been communicating with you?

The biggest problem I have with "Lattice pipes or Basket weave" meers these days are just carved with no hollowing out underneath. They are just pitted.This is just carved

This is latticed with the actual under carving

There is an actual space between the underside, you can slide a thread underneath from hole to hole...

Sorry to hear that ormazd. I hope it somehow ends well and you eventually get the pipe...or a refund.
