Do they have to be 50g or 2 oz. tins? If they can be 8 or 16 oz., I'd probably just stock up on a variety of G.L. Pease blends that come in those amounts.

As things currently stand, I don't even have a hundred tins (even if you include jarred bulk), and there are very few repeats. This is because I'm a guy who A. loves variety, and B. is newish to serious pipe smoking and tobacco collecting, and C. doesn't know exactly what I love and could smoke for the rest of my life.

But now that I've smoked quite a number of different and excellent (and some mediocre and not great) tobaccos, I again would say that I'd go with G.L. Pease, definitely with an emphasis on Quiet Nights. I'd probably also stock up on Super Balkan and MB Scottish Blend as well.

2 tins of Astley's 109 - pre 2013
2 tins of Brigham Klondike Gold
2 tins of GL Pease Renaissance
2 tins of McClelland #27

Since the size of the tins wasn't mentioned it is understood that these are all 8 oz tins I can live with 50 lbs of tins, especially when you consider bulk, nobody said anything about bulk, so bulk is allowed

Bulk:
10 lbs of 2015
10 lbs of 2010
10 lbs of 5100
10 lbs of 2035
10 lbs of SP - LBF
10 lbs of C&D Yorktown
etc, etc

I should probably just go 100 tins of Silver Flake as they're the largest tins I've run across in the UK of anything I like.

But percentages is the point, so I'll go:
10% Bold Kentucky
10% Golden Glow
10% Dark Birds Eye
10% Kendal Gold Shag
10% Uncle Toms
10% Germains Brown Flake
10% Silver Flake
5% Capstan Blue
5% Kendal Kentucky
5% Bothy Flake
5% Cabbie's Mixture
The remaining 10% random - that will at least remind me of how amazing the other 90% are.

50 tins of an unnamed, readily available in the US, Lakeland produced tobacco. (if you know, you know. If you don't know, it's terrible and not worth looking into.)
