As a newby I have separated my samples into similar groupings. I am placing Lat+Per blends in its own category and at the very end of my trials. So those popular ones with Lat and Per I listed below. If you could only buy $25 worth what is your recommendations. Feel free to add others. Noting my limit would be 2 tins, or 6 bulks, or 1 tin and 3 bulks.

Plum Pudding
Quiet Nights
Artisans Blend
NightCap
Chelsea Morning
Byzantium
Bayou Night
Super Balkan
Nightwatch

Nothing on that list and never anything from Seattle Pipe Club. I'd say Balkan Supreme.
Just confirming: Is it Arango Balkan Supreme? I am getting some on my next order as it was recommended on my other thread about English Wars. For this list I am seeking blends that have both Latakia and Perique together.

The short answer is yes, it is Arango.

I'd say the Nightcap and Artisan's Blend are close enough you could take either one off your list.

I would go with Arango Balkan Supreme and Plum Pudding because they are different enough to give a little variety to your cellar.

honestly in my opinion you worry to much about how good your tobacco is. Every single one of those is a quality product. All the leaf is grown with love and blended with love (might be a love of money but love is in there) and each and every one of those you listed is some pipe smokers favorite. And with English type blends remind me of cigars. Every cigar is a pretty cigarish yet they're all wildly different if you're into them. And asking what to cellar here is like asking a cigar group what brand to buy. You'll get a lot of good answers. I guess my point I am getting to is instead of buying the right blends it's better to appreciate what you have. And I don't think you can go wrong with anything on your list.

Quiet Nights and Artisan's Blend. Both firm favorites for me.

All Balkan Supreme is the same blend be it Stokkebye, Arango, etc. The name changes depending on the vendor.
side note for everyone. He's not one to spout the this blend is really this blend all willy nilly. Or in other words. I'd trust him on this to the point of saying if he's wrong (which I doubt) not even Jim Inks could tell a difference.
