I’m hands down a Zippo man. Ive tried buying those fancy butane lighters but they eventually always end up failing me plus they stink at lighting a pipe even if there is a slight breeze. Zippo 90% of the time, Bic the other 10%.

I used to use my Zippo, but the fluid evaporated to quickly for how infrequently I used it. I've since switched to an IMCO and have no complaints.
IM Corona Old Boy for me. I love that lighter. I use my Zippo for cigars.
Nerd alert: What you're talking about is the survivor paradox. There has never been a time when companies made things that lasted. It's just when a company does make something that lasts it lasts. So all the average made to break crap breaks and in a few decades only the well made long lasting stuff is still around. So it creates this illusion that people made things better back in the day. Seriously people will be saying the same thing about stuff made now in 40 years. Wow this thing from 2020 is still working man they made stuff to last back then. Sorry sometimes I can't keep my inner nerd suppressed.
o.k. this answers the question about Brobs wife. Apparently he can't tell the difference between a woman and a pipe. Hence his wife is actually a pipe and that's why she keeps buying him tobacco. I knew it would make sense eventually.

Nope, mine is authentic, & also a different model from the ones that are copied. Anyway, I find that my model is much easier to use for piping. Enjoy yours, but they're not the same & not as good as their authentic counterparts.
