Never smoked a meerschaum. But I have read when you smoke a new one, sometimes you tast the bees wax they seal them in. I'll find out this week.

You'll definitely smell that for a while.

They all say that. Actually, my wife just order online. I have my pipes, she her shoes.. Scarfs.. Make-ups.. Jewelries.. Per my friend "Why didn't you guys tell me I'm just supposed to say "yes, dear" to my wife?"
