...in my own kitchen.

Not kidding

Same brand of dog, same rules, everything by the book.

Joey Chestnut's record is 76 dogs w/buns in ten minutes. (Since I didn't have that many on hand, I just cooked one and cut it into even quarters)

So, I got into the ready position, banged the timer, and swallowed that 1.7" length of puppy clean in 1.91 seconds.

Times four quarters = 7.64 seconds

Ten minutes (the contest time) divided by 7.64 seconds = 78.534 hot dogs.

Am I the Man, or what?

What do you mean, not how it works?

Anything you can do perfectly once you can do 307 more times.

Duh.

On 'em? Whataburger yellow mustard jazzed with a bit of Coleman's powder, and a slice of pickled jalapeno in every bite. No ketchup. Ketchup is for burgers.

not how it's done. I can't run a marathon but for a few feet I can go faster then those folks usually do.

Concerned about lack of mention of the doughy part: buns, my man, buns! Wha' happen?

Gosh, I so wish that would apply to my golf game. And I'd need only about 60 Perfect shots, not 307!

Here in CT we have Cricket Car Hop in Stratford. They had their hot dog eating contest this past Labor Day weekend and the professional winner ate 54 Hummel hot dogs in 10 mins with bun. No toppings. The amateur category was also represented with I believe a total of 12 or 15 hot dogs in the same time. Of course everyone here in CT knows Hummels are the best. And made local to CT too. Grab a long dog with their own house hot sauce relish. MRK. Mustard relish kraut. Damn I'm hungry now.

I remember my friend trying to eat a tablespoon of cinnamon and he ended up throwing up all over me. Wasn’t the worst smelling vomit.
