I bought all nine different blends of the only domestically produced brand available in Turkey :D I wasn't a fan of aromatic tobaccos, but I'll give them a try now. Except for Sooty, Balkan, Best Chocolate, and 1453 in the picture, the rest will be my first time trying.

Sooty Flake is really weird. You actually get a woody smell because it's smoked in the fire of cherry and oak woods. And that's why I thought my pipe had gone burnout at least 2-3 times. Now it goes like this: 'Oh, that woody scent, what's happening! Okay, calm down, your pipe can't burnout with this heat. You're smoking Sooty Flake.' :D

Looks fun. Let us know how they are too. I wish I could try them but I'm not getting to Turkey anytime soon. I'll get there eventually, just not in the near future.

Congratulations...enjoy.

But I just have to tell you, that doesn't even come close to qualifying as crazy around here...it's still well within the PM Forums normal and sane range.

You'll have to really up your insanity game if you want to keep up with the inmates here.

Vanilla Cream seemed quite 'classic' to me. Its flavor is quite intense. Right now, I'm smoking Blueberry Cake. It's a standard cake cut. The moisture seems quite balanced, making it enjoyable. I can say I prefer its flavor over Vanilla Cream. It has a moderately warm and balanced burn. As I continue to try them, I'll jot down my thoughts.

Unfortunately, you can't go beyond this in Turkey. Perhaps you can find a few more local varieties. Due to the ban on importing pipe tobacco to Turkey, we don't have too many options. So, everyone's level of indulgence varies.

That's a real shame, considering that Turkey is the land of meerschaum.

There are about 4-5 thousand pipe smokers in Turkey. It's not only meerschaum; there's also a pipe brand called Şahin Pipe in Turkey. However, importing pipe tobacco is prohibited. Recently, pipes are also having a hard time entering Turkey. It's absurd, but I think it's related to demand. If there was more demand, it would probably be allowed. There are much more shameful things in the world :)

Let me know if you're ever interested in attempting a trade. I'm fairly adept at finding a broad selection of pipe tobaccos, domestically-produced Turkish offerings being one rather significant exception.

Sooty sounds pretty good to me. So does blueberry cake. Enjoy, and don’t worry about what you can’t get. It’s not like we can get those. Do we even have a blueberry aromatic? I have not noticed any.
