I sort of commandeered Penguin's little meer, but we went back to tobacco world today and I bought myself a K&P Peterson System Standard 303, rusticated ^_^ hehe, look at me talking all official and junk. ((like I actually know what I am talking about... I'm really just parroting Penguin.)) But I did learn what the System was today, and that 303 is the pipe shape. So I'm not too far behind. lol
So yes, pictures and junk! Sorry if I do not have Penguin's talent for taking really nice pictures...

((that last one is my favorite! hehe))
I christened it today with J.D.Whiskey, ^_^ I have been wanting to try it and it seemed like a good time.
So now the slow process of breaking it in and being careful not to ruin it.

Congratulations Red,

Very nice pickup.

If you have questions, don't be shy.

What method are you going to use to break it in.

Full pipe or half fill?

This is going to be fun!
Oh yeah: Go Raymond!!!!!!

Sorry couldn't control myself.

That particular Peterson makes for a very nice cool smoke, particularly because the dimples sort of act as cooling fins.Excellent choice.I'm jealous with envy! Now you have bragging rights.

Nice looking pipe and a great first pipe. Is it easy to clench in your teeth all day or is it a little heavy?

I am using the half bowl for the first few smokes. I had the link somewhere for how to break in a pipe but I can't seem to find it, so I'm going off of Penguin's advice.

It's a bit heavy for me to hold in my teeth for too long. I can for a bit, but my jaw is wonky anyway, so even the really light pipes make it hurt if I don't use my hands. But I don't mind, it's a fun pipe to hold. ^_^

Nice pipe! And a sensible first purchase, if you ask me. I'm sure it'll smoke cool and dry, and be a very comfortable smoke.

(I like the military style mount too! Simplicity.)
