Going on 18 years with my wife, Cathy. I would not trade a moment of it for any other woman! It looks like Kevin is "searching" and maybe "finding"! Good luck to Kevin. Remember, Kevin, when "searching" for a car you may be attracted by the "color" or what you think your friends would "envy". However, remember that when searching for a car, it is really what is "under-the-hood" that counts. The same applies to searching for a woman (in my opinion). I wish you the best of luck in your search. Not every man is as lucky as I was in my second marriage. I wish you the absolute best. After all, all cars have the same parts. The same is true of women. Choose carefully!

Here's to Cap't Bob. At first I was getting a little jealous of Kevin and then I realized that no lady in this world would put up with my craziness like my wife. She's blessed me with beautiful children, a safe place to be myself, and more support and love than I probably deserve most days.

OK, I've got to jump in here and show off my wife:

Here's a photo of Yvette & me taken several years ago in the Canadian Arctic, which was published in a Canadian primary school textbook with the totally erroneous caption "An Inuit Couple in Nunavut." First place, neither of us is Inuit (Eskimo). Secondly, the skin tent shown behind us is only for storing gear; when they're "out on the land," Inuit sleep in igloos.
Canadians, this is what your kids are learning in school!!

To clarify, that really IS my wife and myself. We were in Baker Lake, Nunavut, Canada, doing an article on Inuit life and culture, and had donned Inuit clothing for a couple of days out "on the land," with some local Inuit elders, when that photo was taken. It made the cover of "Up Here" magazine, and somehow made it into that primary school textbook, wrongly identifying us as "an Inuit couple."
During that trip, we built and lived in an igloo, ate like the natives, including raw caribou (which my doctor was not to thrilled to hear about), and hunted with them from a dogsled. A truly memorable experience.

4dot that sounds like it would have been a blast, closest thing I have ever got to do was some survival training in washington state. We didn't get to hunt anything though, the great outdoors is something everyone should experience once.
Here is my family, better half and our kids.

Okay, I'll chip in... Since I posted the "passport" photo of myself that my wife took for the Steampunk Cruise earlier this year, here's her shot:

Hmm do I ask for permission or forgiveness? I'll post.

I freely admit I am the ogre to her princess. I think she just keeps me around to open jars and kill those "icky" spiders.
