Ok, just because I am stupid... what is the difference between England and the UK? Is Ireland still assumed a part of it? Or, maybe the UK is just a political term? Curious...
Cosmic!! You legend. I’ve been browsing the forum since October and you are certainly an active and busy member.

sooo England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are all part of the UK.

The Republic of Ireland, which in fairness is the majority of the country is a separate state and still part of the EU. Hope that explains it

Thanks. I didn't realize that Wales was a separate place from England. Scotland... I always forget about them. I'm pretty sure they do too. ;)

The Welsh are a lovely bunch. Very chilled
My natural father was Welsh. I just thought that maybe it was a state in England. 1707... See,. in America we would think of that as ancient history. In the US we think 100 years is ancient. And, in UK you guys think 100 miles is really far away. puffy

This is very true. Although I’m a wanderer, I don’t mind getting in my car and driving to meet people when I’m permitted to do so

Welcome from Scotland.
Saint Patrick's Day. Today everybody in the U.S. is Irish.
Except the Scots we are still Scottish.
