Hello People, I'm new to Pipe Smoking and this forum. I just saw this post and read through it. I have two questions if you don't mind me asking.
1. How does one go about researching/looking for Estate sales? Or is it something more by chance that you happen upon it?
2. Twice in this thread "PAD Virus" was mentioned... Is this a thing with old Pipes? or is it a joke? In some of my other hobbies people joke about "acquisition syndrome"

Hello papaguido, welcome to the forum! You guessed right, PAD - Pipe Acquisition Disorder (along with it's sister "disease" Tobacco Acquisition Disorder - TAD for short) is just a reference to many pipe smoker/collector's ever-growing collection of pipes.

I am all but cleaned out at this point. After about 8 weeks I have sold most. I have had the great pleasure of dealing with some wonderful forum members. I am away from home but will list some on the forums for sale when I return. It has been fun and I have learned a lot.
