Last year, I heard from a reliable source that HU tobaccos were coming to the US market in 2024. Does anyone know if this is true? I figure if they did hit, the demand is going to be astronomical.

I haven’t heard of anyone getting it yet. Kopp bought the blends but I haven’t seen any changes yet. I really wonder if they can manage to increase production to that level.
We better stock up here in Europe. I just bought 5 tins of Dockworker and am anxious to see the dates because the price is 30 cents less than I paid last week. I think they are before the last tax Heike here in Germany on January 2023. So maybe sometime in 2022.1

Kopp issued a press release that said it had acquired the worldwide distribution rights. It never said where it was going to distribute it to. Kopp doesn't act as the local distributor for its products in the US, so they'd still need an outfit with a local presence in the US to actually distribute HU here.
I guess Adam and Daniel Kohlhase are in the cigar business now. I believe from what I’ve read, they are just a cigar brand distributor, they don’t make cigars, just distribute other brands…

We are already seeing Kopp Tobacco. Check the recent blend AHOY on Smoking pipes! I would love to see HU blends available in the US. I enjoyed Bahai Orange from time to time. Apparently HU will be available in the US shortly. Beans 316 posted a video and they are listed on SP. Current status is listed as non available but that will probably change. Link to Beans 316

That is about what we pay here in Germany, except for the Directors Cut which is a little high. Do forget the are imported and duties have to be paid. As usual the consumer pays for this.

21 USD is not expensive for a tin. They are 100 gram tins so about 5 oz. Its expensive compared to bulk but not expensive compared to other tins. Its right in line with C&D and GLP
Thanks for all the info. No Haymaker and Dockworker this time around. I think they go on sale next Tuesday evening. Hope I can snag some.
It will be interesting to evaluate some of these new "Kopp" interpretations of the HU lines and see for myself what may have been altered due to concerns of availability and expediency.
