I could be wrong but I really dont think EU blenders focus that much on aging...at least not as much. Id venture to say most people stock a little ahead but in most areas you have to be rich to buy pound upon pound of tobacco.
at around 200 GBP a pound (220 a kilo) 260 USD that is very trueI could be wrong but I really dont think EU blenders focus that much on aging...at least not as much. Id venture to say most people stock a little ahead but in most areas you have to be rich to buy pound upon pound of tobacco.
A question for those complaining about not being shipped in tins
You would be quite happy and not moan about the extra cost placed on each tin to cover the shipping ?
i see many times complaints about the rising price of tobacco in the US even though its as cheap as it is compared with elsewhere. There were even some about the HU price even though they are 100gr tins
well that would be a possibilty ,providing kopp have mylar facilities ,which they probably do.
These Mylar bags are thin, shit, and develop pin holes. Don't be complacent because it's Mylar. All of my Eso bags are bagged in heavy duty 7 mil food grade Mylar, and not a one of them hasn't given off it's pronounced scent when on of those outer bags is opened. Eso bags are not for long term storage, nor were they intended to be.
Esoterica purchased in Germany?
They will help, but not for years of storage. The metallized Mylar bags are not permeable.
Have tried Zulu, Night Owl, and Directors cut so far. Also opened The Untouchables and it scares me, lol, cedar and rose?So aside from discussions on packaging have any of you gents gotten some additional orders and smoked it?
Im curious how it stacks up against other US offerings. It wont change what I smoke (or what I can get) but Im still curious.
@PipeIT Some Porsche is made outside Germany. My 911 is made in Germany though.I have driven BMW’s for over 20 years. Having never once owned one built in the US…
I use these to seal open tins that I have sampled.

Here's where I get my Mylar bags: https://www.topmylar.com/I didn’t expect vacuum sealed bags to last many years, but I was hoping I’d only need to re seal them once a year, or two.
I see I can get metallized mylar bags to use with my FoodSaver. I just need to now figure out who makes good ones to use.
How long of storage do you think can be used with the metallized mylar bags, if I take the Esoterica bags and then seal them in metallized Mylar?
