Albuquerque Pipe club meets every 3rd Thursday of the month at the Albuquerque press club. 5-8pm. Usually varies between 4 to 8 people.

The Geoje Island Pipe Club will be meeting tonight, at around 18:00hrs LT. usually varies between me and Norms, my pup, for a healthy dollop of Pipes Magazine Radio and some select tobaccos.

I love New Mexico and our family has ties to both Albuquerque and and Santa Fé. Two of my uncles received degrees in Geology from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, arguably the best school in the country for Geology, and later funded a Chair for the department, and there's a small museum there with the family's name on it.
I'll be looking forward to eating at El Pinto later this year before we head to Santa Fé for some opera. Their chili rubbed ribs are spectacular!

The cigars have been feeling rather unloved of late. I do enjoy them when I have one, but I'm loving my pipes more at the moment.

I'm at the northern limit of SoCal, just south of the San Joaquin Valley. Err, the non-flooded part, that is.

Newport's a nice area, for sure. I love that drive on the 73, and Newport Coast Dr. down to the beach. Gorgeous landscape!

Only been to your area once, passing through about five years ago to see my favorite musician, Steve Roach, perform in Santa Fe. I was expecting it to be hotter than it was, which was a pleasant surprise.
