How To Tell If You Own Enough "Royal Yacht"

I have 8 or so. Other than the longer the better, what is an amount of age that makes a noticeable difference? 2-3yrs?
It is nice to see an overabundance of Royal Yacht threads, instead of Penzance. The Yacht is by far the superior tobacco between the two, IMO.
Yacht gets the same treatment as Wessex Burley Slices when I order. There is always a tin or two in every order to add to the stock.

We need even more RY threads, if you ask me. There are infinite important ideas of its excellence which must be discussed in depth.
For a long time Royal Yacht was one of those blends I liked, and I'd have a few tins around at any given time. Then, in a cushioned deck chair in the golden hour of a hot evening in a Falcon with a smooth apple bowl screwed in, I had an epiphany with the stuff. Now it's a rotation staple. I keep many sleeves in the store. :mrgreen:

I've not tried this Royal Yacht as yet. Have an overabundance? PM me, since I won't be making any orders for at least two months.
I have a Royal Yacht Crisis. A real tale of woe.
See, I was smoking a cob on my sailboat (no worries about dropping it overboard, or salt water etc). But then the yachties called me out for looking like a hayseed. So I bought a Yachstman pipe on ebay.
But when I proudly tried to smoke it on the deck of my boat, I was again called out, apparently I had actually purchased a Dublin.
Some careful research on Reborn Pipes, a lighter, and some careful bending of the stem, and my Dublin was now a Yachstman.
But now, it refused to burn my Price Albert anymore. It would either eject the whole wad as a flaming missile or just simply go out in a fit of rage.
My yacht friends told me that it needs a proper yacht blend, so I bought a tin of Royal Yacht, and now the pipe burns happily.
The problem is that now the boat seems to think I'm putting on airs. After all, it's a 27' sailboat with a crappy outboard, and I'm smoking a yachstman stoked with Royal Yacht.
Could I mix my Royal Yacht with Sail or Sir Walter Raleigh (a sailor, right?) to make it more Working Class Yacht?
Or do I need to sell my house and use the money to buy more Royal Yacht and a bigger boat?

You and Ricky Gervais have something in common: you both mistakenly believe Kansas City is in Kansas. True, there is a Kansas City, Kansas, but that is in reality just an exclave of Greater Missouri.

Mixing it with Mixture 79 would help move you down the scales a bit. But as to your self described small sailboat with a crappy outboard, get a beautiful all wood dingy, white strake hull, plenty brightwork around the gunnels, and tow it proudly.... Then everything is evened out.
