Ha! I just got some twist and am wondering how to store it.How the hell do you cellar a twist?

I don't think I'll do that with the twist I have. It is not so easy as a rope or block to cut into sections without messing it up.Cut it into sections then jar it. ?

That is absolutely amazing. I'd do the same if I was a little more patient. Maybe somedaySomeone asked me earlier how I did my cellaring. Which was a interesting observation. I may be new to piping but I’m a very organized person. I happen to have a lot of canning jars around so that wasn’t a problem.
then I went on that website we referenced earlier cellarlabels.com. I downloaded a template from the community of a jar lid cover, cut and pasted it into PowerPoint, printed and trimmed.
It may take a little trial and error to get the circle right, but not much. I ended up making a circle exactly the size I needed. Now I can easily resize my image to that size
I use double-sided tape to attach it to the tape lid.

hopefully you can see the tape in this photo. I put smaller pieces running from the edge to the center.

I the carefully center the image on the lid and press around the edges. I don’t press the center. It causes wrinkles.View attachment 16913
Then add the ring and your done.

Nice work! There's no way in a million years that I could cut a circle that round with scissors. It may take a little trial and error to get the circle right, but not much. I ended up making a circle exactly the size I needed. Now I can easily resize my image to that size

I will often just cut the label off the tin to fit the jar lid. I don't bother taping it either because I reuse the lids and I don't always store the same blend in that jar.View attachment 16959
Edit: sorry about the orientation. I took it in portrait mode on my phone. I'm not sure why it got flipped.
I’d jus scan or photograph it.I've had little luck in peeling labels off tins.
There must be a better way. Anyone?
