Most of my writing is at work, as a mortgage underwriter. I am not expressing myself. I am making the message as exact and easy to understand as possible. "Borrower to provide page 3 of the July 31st statement of ABC Bank account 3333."
I also love to insert a picture of guidelines, when I am e-mailing a loan officer about why he can't do what he is attempting. I find that this stops a lot of noise.
Obviously, this forum is different from work. But I still prefer to communicate clearly. I will keep sarcasm and friendly joshing to when I can see the other person's face to read when I am getting close to crossing a line.
