I was quitting cigarettes when I met Mrs Cosmic, so I didn't think that it would be a problem, but quitting took me way over a year... and we all know the rest of that story, ha ha. Yeh, I would have never dated a non-smoker before that, much less married one. But, Mrs Cosmic was worth it. We dated for almost ten years before we married. and both of us were so shell shocked from our previous marriages that we never would have married if it just weren't nearly impossible to buy a house together without being married.

Yeh yeh, I know, some people can buy a house together without getting married, but if you haven't tried, you have no f'n idea how much more expensive it is. No one wants to lend money to two people unless they have a contract as clear as a marriage.

well she did get me some Blood Red Moon for valentines day and she liked it. But she likes Chatom Manor also she says it has a chocolate hazelnut smell
Yeh, Blood Red Moon is going to be a little more tough to toss and replace with something else. You're really going to have to turn up the gaslighting for that to work. Ha ha.

There's no fore planning for these things.. Hell, when I met my wife I wouldn't even crack the window as I smoked 3 blunts and 15 cigarettes on a trip.. people grow, things change.. the whole thing seems to become a sacrificial compromise, after a while. I've realized its best not to strive for perfection.. that could lead to frustration, big time.

I assume that a blunt is a type of cigar?
Yeh, and sometimes a gripe is really not about the thing being griped at but something else, sometimes deeper. My wife and I have not argued one time since being married. We discuss. But, my first wife, if she was pissed about needing a new stove, it wasn't really about the stove. It would end up being about just not wanting to be a wife any more, or a mother, or the weather, who knows. But, sometimes we "feel" a certain way, and then we look for things to justify the "feeling." And, when I say "we" I mean dumb bitches. puffy

Sterling Hayden's astonishingly forceful personality is a perfect fit for a general/biggest shot in this role. Then add all of Kubrick's lunatic touches and there you have all the wonder of this character.
Absolutely...he was perfect for the role. As were just about everyone else in it.

Sellers was originally playing 4 roles, including Major Kong, but it was too much for him...so they brought Slim Pickens on, which again was perfect.

Blunts are the wrapper of a Swisher Sweet filled with marijuana.. yes a type of cigar.

yep.. I've walked the path of dumb bitches. That misdirected griping could drive a man crazy.

LOL...neither here...just jokin' around (but that doesn't mean you're not a nymphomaniac). BTW: should be "couldn't care less". nnnn
No, I could probably care less if I tried, ha ha, "literally."
Hey, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a nymphomaniac. If a guy can be one, and if there was a medication that made you into one, I'd eat them up like a coke whore. If I didn't have to leave the house to make money, I'd spend all day in bed, ha ha.

Right on. I don't think the filmmakers could have done better. They give us a neutral position along with the partisan by referring back to the illustrator's work.

I would have loved to see Seller's take on Major Kong, yet at the same time I don't know how Slim Pickens performance could have been bettered.

I think Kubrick's lunatic laughter at the absurd resounds through the whole movie. I think it's a response that everyone, except a 5-Star General and certain senior administration officials, can understand.

Sellers actually faked an injury to get out of the 4th role.
