Does anyone here know a way to date these tins? I found some calculator that seems to have worked before in an old thread. But now it seems to be outdated, since it doesn't calculate with the new letters or something. Thank you.

So It looks like the last 3 letters on my tin manufactured by Kohlhause & Kopp are MAU, so that would be 13-1- 2021?
I imagine I'm way off. Its probably based on a code and not as simple as other company's dating procedureI will let you know if I find out.
Not sure if this helps, but I bought these from SmokingPipes in 2013 and wrote the date on the tin when I received them. Looks just like yours.
Here's an example of a 2017 tin. Not sure if that helps
