Well I did it. I tossed the mac barren and other bags still sealed into Mylar bags. My only question now is do they have to be heat sealed or is that going to be good enough. I’d love and advice on this topic.
Also bought some mason jars for my short term storage and use.
How are the mylar bags closed now?

Just with the zipper ziplock on them.

Also, thoughts on the ceramic jars that come from pipes and cigars? Nice to look at, but I dunno about this seal on them.

I fill them to the top, but not packed firmly.
It is often after sitting for a while that they settle with and inch or two of space at the top. I'm okay with that.
If I smoked aromatics I wouldn't care how tightly they were packed, but I only keep one aro onhand, so it's not an issue.
