As long as you keep your pipe clean, there's no reason you can't smoke one multiple times per day. If you have a number of pipes, I see no reason to do that.
I smoke my pipes immediately after a hot water flush after toweling out the chamber and pipe cleaner in the airway. I don't do that all the time by any means but it's very possible and easy.

My whole collection gets smoked at least once in awhile but I do have some that group of large fully blasted or rusticated pipes that seem to always seem to be at hand or that travel with me in “the action pac”. They’re just something these pipes that call to me. Probably because of the capacity and I don’t have to be careful with the black rusticated rim.

It's like a used car. I couldn't bring myself to pass off junk to someone else so off to the junkyard it goes.
I get it. But, I’d at least ship them off to SP.com for credit. Someone will enjoy that burner and you’d be able to acquire something should it fancy you…that very last Weaver that was out there? ? Kinda like gifting a blend down the road you thought wasn’t your cup of tea?☕

These days I generally smoke a few bowls on one blend, and sometimes two on a given day, so the pipes I use will get smoked a few times a day, for a few days. They get cleaned between bowls, and then they get a more thorough cleaning before being set aside for several days to a week. Every now and then I switch out rotations so those pipes that have seen a couple of months of use get a couple of months of resting, some a year or more before they go back into service again.

Why not? I and others often cull less than adequate smokers by tossing them in the bin. Simple and no muss nor fuss.
Well ok, I understand tossing them if they don't smoke well, for whatever reason, but Chasing Embers said he throws them away if they're not his "favorites" which is different.

I "toss" them into the trash. I'm not going to haul them around to "Goodwill" or wherever. Neither am I going to haul them to the PO and pay to mail them someplace. Why should I, 1. inconvenience myself or, 2. saddle someone else with a less than stellar pipe? And, I certainly am not going to be an enabler assisting others to take up smoking.

PS
If they are not a favorite, they don't get to sit around with the ones I enjoy. Why keep them? Their lack of ability might rub off on the "good" pipes!

True but I've got a guilt complex and couldn't pass something I find flawed onto the next guy.

Any pipe that meets my criteria is a favorite, no levels of most to least. Not passing a pipe cleaner will get them out of my collection faster than anything.

I trust, as I’m sure you do, that the folks @ SP.com can properly take your discards, assess & price, cull, or donate your pipes on request in a quality fashion. They also wouldn’t take in something they thought wouldn’t sell, or was damaged beyond repair.

I mean your trash can be translated into a Weaver my man and everyone would be the better for it. ?☕

Not true for me. I'd have to package the pipe, drive into the city to post it, pay the postage, etc. How in the world would I be better for all of the cost and inconvenience? A less than stellar pipe isn't going to compound the problem by requiring me to truck it into town and donate or post it to somewhere. Not when I can solve the problem by simply tossing it into the trash. I keep my smoking as simple as possible.
