How often do you smoke a pipe?

During the winter I tend to smoke some more cigars since I'm not fishing as much, but I tend to smoke 1 to 2 a day. In the warmer months when I'm working more I smoke mainly pipes throughout the day.

I like at least one good smoke a day but not even that right now, it's 15 degrees outside and I'm not gonna do it. I do smoke a little more on the weekends or when the weather is nice. With 2 daughters in school (basketball and band), I really don't have the free time in the afternoons that I would like to have to smoke my pipes. Now that I'm unemployed, you would think I would have lots of time during the day but I find myself doing things for wifey and kids that keep me on the go (cooking, laundry, shopping, etc...) I really don't mind the sacrifice for my family. I have been blessed. :worship:

I sort of look at it like' Pippin's response to Aragorn in Lord of the Rings, just replace the idea of 'food with 'pipe'.

If I am home I usually smoke more like 4 - 5 a day... If I am out and about it falls to 2 or 3! I have upped my consumption recently though!
As to jsharp's questions... If I am home I will grab a different pipe for every smoke, since I have plenty to choose from. But when I go out I only bring two pipes with me and I smoke one bowl out of each, if I decided to go for a third I smoke the pipe I smoked first that day!

Over the years, I've been fortunate to be able to acquire about

100 Pipes. I might smoke a Pipe twice in the same week. If I smoke

7 Pipes in a day, they will be 7 different Pipes.

I wonder at why some don't smoke a pipe due to cold? That's one of the reasons I started years ago while stationed in Korea.
I average 1-4 bowls a day depending on what I have going on. A nice relaxing day might see 4.
