So yeah...don't do what I did. Unless you want to spend half an hour before each smoking pondering your choices.
See, now this is what I'm talking about and I'm surprised there aren't more people doing the same. It's like being a kid in a candy store. I was impressed that you actually took the time to count your jars, so I did the same. I've only got 62 jars ready to dip into, plus a half dozen open tins at the moment. Most of those blends (practically all) are just a portion of a larger amount sleeping in the basement. What's considered open?
I keep 3 blends in display jars that I smoke all day and next to that 1 jar I smoke once a night but also currently have 146 jars at last count each containing between 1-4oz in a cupboard above my smoking station. Which I randomly pull from a few times a week to smoke a bowl or 5 before putting back in the cupboard?
I'm afraid either, I don't understand what you mean, or you don't understand how aging works. If you open a jar, it is no longer aging. That's just how it works.Once you start using canning jars, you never have to worry about this and your whole collection is the rotation.
It's no longer aging with anaerobic action, but it's aging! If kept airtight long enough after reopening, it'll restart.I'm afraid either, I don't understand what you mean, or you don't understand how aging works. If you open a jar, it is no longer aging. That's just how it works.
I'm not talking about aging. Just saying if you have 10 tobaccos in canning jars, that's better than ten open tins with no seal.I'm afraid either, I don't understand what you mean, or you don't understand how aging works. If you open a jar, it is no longer aging. That's just how it works.
