I use pipe cleaners for everything. It takes 3679 to wash a small car. For a medium sized kid, 188.
They get reused in my fluffy barbed wire fence.

If you insist on still using pipe cleaners I conducted a little experiment and here are the results:

Given how expensive preserving jars are on Amazon now (if you do not believe me, look, at least here in Canada), I'll let hot water, a bit of dish soap and a towel do the work.

Oh, yeah, that's what I referenced with "Diff folks, diff folks" up thread. And mentioned that the dishwasher is the best- for both washing and drying.

Well, no judgement from me, I realize we all come from different backgrounds, cultures etc., to use the bathroom as an analogy: some people have a bidet, some use toilet paper, others their a bucket and mop. Each to their own but paper will never, ever, touch my jars.

Why the aversion to using paper on a jar? A lot of Tobacco comes with paper separating it from the tin and a circle of cardboard slapped directly on top of the tobacco. This is a genuine question.
