How Many Open Tins is Too Many?

I prefer to only have about half a dozen open (jarred) tins going at once. I like to appreciate and get to know a blend before moving on to the next one. It takes me a while to work through any one tin, because half of what I smoke are my "staples" - Cater Hall, Prince Albert, etc.

It took years, but I’ve managed to weed it down to about twenty open tins. (This doesn’t include open codger tubs, though. That’s a monster of another color.)

When I pop a tin, I jar it; I keep many around just for this. Is it necessary? Opinions differ on this point. Is it fun this way? Yes!

Yep...do what tickles your fancy. Life is short. Luckily this is an area where there are no rules and you get to call the shots.
