I have some Murray’s era erinmore mixture. It needs rehydrating before smoking, and the tin note is of rest home bedpans and moth balls...but boy does she smoke nice. I get a flavour similar to that used in war horse bar, or dark flake scented
I think that is made by Gawith.Peterson's Hyde Park has Lakeland qualities
Interesting. I never found Erinmore Lakelandly. I have only smoked the flake. I have a few tins of Murray’s hanging around that I will crack at some point.I have some Murray’s era erinmore mixture. Did they stop? The tin I bought last year definitely seemed like a GH product.Does Hyde park still have the same vibe since GH stopped manufacturing it?
I’ve found the same thing.Erinmore is also more fruit than floral.
Oh. Hadn’t heard that. Still seems to be in stock most places here.As far as I know Peterson HydePark is discontinued
Lakeland style granny panties. All others are merely sparkling granny panties
Currently manufactured by STG.I think that is made by Gawith.
It seems the supplies have dried up. Any word when the spillway will open so that the lake will again flow? I’ve been waiting to get a view on these tobaccos for a while.
Some blends are available depending on what you’re looking for.It seems the supplies have dried up. Any word when the spillway will open so that the lake will again flow? I’ve been waiting to get a view on these tobaccos for a while.
Didn't realise........Is that another one ruined then?Currently manufactured by STG.
As far as I know, they've been making it for some time now.Didn't realise........Is that another one ruined then?
Not a regular smoke so I never bothered stocking up, but I do like it on occasions (.....did?)............shame one of the few Petersons I actually enjoyed...probably because it was actually a Gawith!
I've never had it but Peterson Hyde Park is supposed to be a Lakeland type blend according to people on tobaccoreviews.com. I think it's made for them by Gawith but I could be wrong about that.It seems the supplies have dried up. Any word when the spillway will open so that the lake will again flow? I’ve been waiting to get a view on these tobaccos for a while.
We're not weird! Maybe a little eccentric but definitely not weird.wild guess. because the British are weird and it's a very dry place, second wild guess because the British are weird and name things very literally.
I consider Walnut Flake to have a slight Lakeland aroma. It's an otc here but I've no idea if it's available elsewhere. What blends might they be, besides Condor and St. Bruno (barely)? I think of Condor as Irish and SB from Liverpool and don't want to cast that history aside by calling them Lakelands.
Hyde Park is made, or at least used to be made by Gawith Hoggarth. Exactly the same as their 'Rum & Maple' blend.I've never had it but Peterson Hyde Park is supposed to be a Lakeland type blend according to people on tobaccoreviews.com. I think it's made for them by Gawith but I could be wrong about that.
Maybe worth a look to dip your toe in the water before the next Gawith drop.
