My wife thinks I have way too many. I on the other hand think I have nowhere near enough  .
I have not counted the different blends in quite a few years, but I definitely know that it is in the hundreds.
Five. Royal Yacht, Nightcap, DNR, Erik Stokkebye 1931, and Virginia Cream. 1931 is almost gone, will probably buy more when I run out of Va Cream which I won't buy again.
"Bengal Slices" IRC "3Star Blue" IRC "Balkan Supreme" "Elizabethan Mixture" "Brown Irish Twist"
And, as a bonus, so there are six, as I just stumbled onto an unopened tin of "Plumcake."
I think I'm around 40-50 but have been doing less exploratory purchasing and sticking with favorites. I expect the number to drop this year as I smoke through or gift some of the lesser enjoyed mixtures. There's a sweet spot between having a well stocked assortment to choose from and being overwhelmed by decision.
So sth sez: " There's a sweet spot between having a well stocked assortment to choose from and being overwhelmed by decision." So what's wrong with overwhelming by decision?
I have to catalog the last dozen or so I got from Pipestud, the KW Holiday Party and Morley's, and the 'puter lists 1,346. I have been working hard to get the working rotation in the Top200 Cellar back down to 200.

My cellar is currently 104 blends wide, but 90% of that is only 1 tin or a couple ounces deep. I have every intention of narrowing that down to a much shorter list, but I seem to keep finding blends that I can't possibly live without. And you can bet I'll be buying some War Horse plug as soon as it's available.
I have 10 two ounce mason jars of best I can figure 6 blends. My current favorite is the Peterson Holiday 2015. I just picked up two new blends yesterday at a little shop in Savannah, GA.
