Black. Fresh, day old, tepid, hot….as long as I get it. Often sour mash style, ie:
I just filled my to go cup to the top from this morning’s pot, and will probably pour tomorrows pot on top of the half filled cup to start pounding at 3am.

Did I mention I’m a recovered alcoholic?😉

I tend to favor dark roast, but I'll take whatever's on offer if someone else is pouring. At home, I prefer it hot, black, and from the French press or cold brewed over ice with milk.
