How do you Hold your Pipe?

On the left. Probably because I'm left handed!

My dentist warned me against keeping my pipe fixed in one place for too long. He is a Dunhill man. So, i sort of keep it moving back and forth, but never dead center. Whenever I see someone walking around with their pipe sticking straight out, I crack up. It is the least natural ways to hold a pipe, IMO

I also alternate left and right to rest my teeth and tongue.
In the center only during lighting, it is an otherwise unnatural position.

Cigar, however, always and only on the right, I don't know why but I can't smoke it on the left.

I most often hold my pipe in my left hand, freeing my right hand to light/tamp/etc... While I don't clench, when I hold the pipe in my mouth for periods of time it is usually on the left side.

I always did the left, but after pulling that tooth I've switched to the right.

I wipe right handed though.

Same here, I think because I use my right for the lighter/match.

Whichever side keeps the wind from blowing the smoke into my eyes. Inside? Left molars are usually keeping the pipe in place.

I used to alternate between left and right until I had a top right molar pulled last year. Now I can only clench on the left side. If I am sitting I try to hold the pipe in my right hand periodically to give the left side of my mouth a break.
