Here in Michigan I cracked the car windows open in the low 40's today… ?
Exactly. It's the wind, in any temperature, that takes the joy out of pipe smoking.Cold in not a problem...wind is.
I am looking into a smoke filter for pipes/cigars. I am staying away from ozone. I read that an air purifier with a particular type of HEPA Filter along with a carbon filter is a good way to go. This bio air you have does it remove both smoke and smell? How large of area are You using it in? Don’t mean to hijack the thread. ThanksThe Bionaire F250 recirculates. Just keep the reuseable filters clean and you'll be just fine.
I don't know the measurements of the den and I'm too lazy to get up and measure it, but here's a pic to give you a general idea. The filter removes the smoke and some of the smell depending on what blend I'm smoking.I am looking into a smoke filter for pipes/cigars. I am staying away from ozone. Can't be done! If you have painted surfaces (walls, ceiling, floor), carpet, rugs, drapes, clothing, etc. the reek will be permanent. You probably won't notice it as it creeps up on the residents. Realtors and prospective buyers will smell the reek when the enter the residence and especially your designated smoking area. It's a penalty one pays for enjoying tobacco. Embrace it, it's part and parcel of the experience. Actions have consequences and the reek is one of the consequences from your decision to smoke. You may slow the growth of the reek but, you can't stop it.That is what I would like to insure doesn’t linger to the point of permanence.
I want to see your setupI don't smoke outside regardless of the weather. I have an air filter next to my desk in the den and that handles the smoke just fine.
Sorry, don't have any photos.I want to see your setup
