When home I only smoke outdoors and away from my electronic equipment. I've seen what the inside of a computer looks like when its owned by a smoker.

I've also always smoked outside because one of our daughters has allergies and asthma and I didn't want to contribute to her problems by smoking indoors. Once she moved out for college, I still just smoked outside or in the garage. Her and her two daughters are living with me since my wife passed away.

Both. Outside is its too hot to open my office upstairs or If Im hanging out on the terrace. Otherwise its usually in my office. I have a huge set of french doors to a balcony and a huge 4 ft window. I dont like stale smoke.

Most often outside in decent weather, in the garage in the winter. I have a nice torpedo heater so it warms up in just a few minutes.

I have five kids, so rarely in the house for more than a few minutes. I don't go out of my way to keep it from them, they see it and smell it, but I try to be somewhat responsible about their exposure to second hand smoke....within reason.

I smoke outside by my own choice. Actually, I can get a better smoke inside with no wind, etc, but I tend to accumulate stuff, and I don't want to clean the condensed smoke off everything.

I smoke pipes indoors and outdoors and like both. I prefer outdoors if it isn't 115F outside and not windy. Summers here make it hard to enjoy outdoors except for very late in the evenings. I don't smoke cigars indoors at all. My wife doesn't mind pipe smoking indoors, but prefers if I don't smoke a heavy latakia English.

I never smoke inside the house as I don't want my house to smell like tobacco smoke nor is it fair to my wife, daughter, and pets (none of whom smoke...except maybe one of the cats) to have to breathe the smoke or have their stuff smell like smoke. Outside when it's nice, garage when it's not nice.

It’s mixed for me. Never in the house. I’d be divorced if I ever did. I’ll smoke mostly on either my front porch or back patio normally.

Now, I did build a small workshop adjacent to my house. So I have a place to smoke “indoors” when it’s colder outside during the winter months.

Really, the only place I can smoke indoors without issue is when I go to my local smoke shop and smoke in their lounge.

Outside only. I wish my old four square house had a room I could use as my lounge that was sequestered from the rest of the house. I’d set up good ventilation and would consider smoking pipes in there. However, I do not have such an arrangement. A mouse could fart and you’d smell it immediately on all 4 stories of this old house.

I will be setting up a space in my detached garage for the winter months, and my hopes are that my sports car that spends its time in there will not be affected.

I used to smoke both inside and outside, but perhaps about 15 years ago or so, I ended up changing to only outside (other than the time I occasionally now visit a cigar lounge). No particular impetus as to why….. just gradually happened….. probably because I enjoy having another “excuse” to step outside. And, yes that is true even in -20 Winter weather.
