That picture of Alaska looks great..My dad tried to talk me into going there to work on the pipeline in the 70s. I joined the Air Force instead. He got rid of me either way haa.Kids were expected to actually leave home at 18 back then..

Welcome aboard from central North Carolina. I learned pipe smoking at my pappy's knee, but didn't buy a pipe until my mid-thirties. But the routine was deeply imprinted I discovered. Forums is loaded with expertise from carvers, restoration guys, blenders, pipe brand specialists, and lots of information and history. I always learn something.

I have lived in North Carolina MSO 489,on the coast,and was born in Graham.My uncle smoked cigars I loved the smell as a child.He also had a tobacco barn that I spent time in smelling the wonderful aroma.
