How yous doin?

Been smoking for a few months now. Migrated from cigars. Too much of a commitment. Collection has quickly blossomed into many mason jars and a dozen+ pipes. Love my Ascorti, meer, cobs, and Savinellis. Want to fire my Peterson into the sun. Might turn it into a succulent pot. Love latakia+ blends (Whiteknight, Balkan, Bengal Slices, Nightcap, etc.) and Sir Walter Raleigh. Trying to develop a taste for virginias (I do like 1Q and Capstan Blue) but compared to my loud and robust beloved latakias it's like listening to music with the volume turned way down.

Wish I were in LA, too. Closest I can get without leaving NJ is Michael Arnone's Crawfish Fest. Father's side is French rooted - went to Canada and then the tree split - one half going down to the bayou and the other to New England.

I've been thru Montclair. I used to do the "bike night" event in Passaic, at Rhutt's-Hutt. Not so tony over there!

Ahh yes, Rutts Hutt. Those fried dog places are slowly closing. Only 2 left I can think of is Rutts and Hot Grill. The only thing that saved Rutts was Ghost Hawk brewery opening across the street. Now everyone grabs a bunch of rippers and heads across the road to eat them and get wasted on high ABV craft beer.
